Behind The Facade
Launched in May 2020 during the COVID-19 lockdown crisis, Behind The Facade explores the often overlooked but critically important mental and emotional game governing your success at a real estate investor.
Reflecting on my own career highs and lows, I take a deep dive into the mindset, behaviours and strategies essential to thriving and surviving over the long term in the property sector.
I outline my key philosophies to wealth building and how to assemble a robust asset portfolio that is capable of weathering anything the economy can throw at at, including this once in a lifetime black swan event we all know as COVID-19.
The podcast is a content companion to this website and to my YouTube channel PropTechTV where you will also find a video version of the podcast.
I have been experimenting with podcast formats since 2017 – my first attempt was called ‘Proptech Innovate’ but I gave up after only one episode after I came to the conclusion there were much better podcasts on that topics already available in the market.
Next came the ‘Workplace Manifesto’ where I planned to discuss more of my day to day workplace activities around the office campus I manage and while this is still an area of interest for me I didn’t want to be boxed into too narrow a field such as workplace strategy or design.
So with all of that out of the way, please stay tuned for the next episode of my podcast to drop – links below. Latest episode is a discussion with David Jelly of https://propertybridges.com
