After 25+ years working in the real estate and property industry I have picked up quite a few lessons and can tell plenty of stories. Most of these stories involve some aspect of my career that (a) I want to replicate, or (b) would prefer to forget – I have found my mistakes and failures to be far better teachers than the success and wins I’ve enjoyed. A lot of mistakes in life can be avoided if you are simply made aware of the risks.
I worked very hard in my early career and had a few lucky breaks, but I also did a lot of dumb shit and made mistakes that could have easily been avoided with the help of a mentor or more experienced person to guide me along my journey. The purpose of this blog is to provide all the advice I wish I had gotten at the time.
