Whats a Now Page?

Tim Ferriss interviewed Derek Sivers on his podcast a few years back. Derek is one of those fascinating people who thinks outside the box and after listening to him speak I found myself reflecting on my own values.

The idea of this Now Page came from him – you can read about it HERE but in principle the Now Page is gives you a current update on the stuff you’re working on, or in this case it will be the stuff that I am currently focussed on.

For me there are 10 different areas of life that I try to prioritise and track progress on. I like to look ahead for the next quarter and I pick a couple from the list below to pay particular attention to over the coming 3 months.

In no particular order they are:

  1. Mindset
  2. Personal Development
  3. Health & Fitness
  4. Family
  5. Relationships
  6. Work & Career
  7. Wealth & Investments
  8. Surroundings
  9. Travel & Adventure
  10. Charity & Contribution

Rather than intermittently update this page I create dated blog posts and put a link below. Apart from referring back to stuff you were focussed or working on in the past, my thinking here is that perhaps the exercise will highlight certain patterns, which will help me improve performance and results.
